Let’s build psychological safety and foster inclusive innovation together
As a former corporate executive, Dr. Maren Gube’s professional practice incorporates a sophisticated appreciation for the nuanced complexity of the real world of work, while rooted in scientific evidence.
Her blend of executive experience and PhD inquiry brings new perspectives to leaders, and Dr. Gube’s research findings about why women leave Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields have earned awards on both sides of the Atlantic, including 1st prizes from both the jury and the attendees at the Gender Summit North America.

Early influences
Growing up in Finland among forests, paper mills, and engineers, Dr. Gube developed an early interest in how things are made and how they work. Formative career experiences included management roles in corporate and industrial settings, and she was the first woman on the executive committee of a large manufacturing organization in the transportation industry.
Today’s focus
Dr. Gube’s academic research and professional practice centre on individual and organizational creativity, culture, learning, and innovation. Her work has spanned decades with clients ranging from industry to education, and she understands the cultural contexts that empower teams to be adaptive in the face of change and disruption. Dr. Gube applies her research findings, together with the broader science of emotions and creativity, to team challenges of organizational culture, psychological and emotional safety, and inclusion.
